Anti:dote is really good at a couple of things – high tea and cocktails. Now I can say their lunch is pretty good as well.
Went with a business associate for somewhere quiet for a business discussion. What could be quieter than a cocktail bar at lunch.
Heirloom Tomato Salad |Buffalo mozzarella | balsamic reduction | leafy greens | parma ham

Wild Mushroom Velouté | Crispy wild rice | white truffle oil

The soup was delicious, but the winning factor was the drizzling of the truffle oil and crispy wild rice. They added dimension to what would be a boring mushroom soup.
Lobster Roll | Fresh poached maine lobster | charcoal or multi-grain bun | homemade potato chips
Two choices – multigrain bread or charcoal bread.

I opted for the multi-grain roll, the portion was’t big but I still left the potato chips alone as they were greasy. The lobster chunks were quite small, not what I expected, but the combination was just right.

The recent craze of incorporating charcoal into food. Don’t get it, but I guess it would taste the same as my multigrain.
As what I expected, it was really quiet and we managed to have a proper conversation and catch-up. Good use of my lunch hour.
