Dock of the Back Lake 船坞

Further to the north is the well-preserved dockyard where the largest imperial pleasure boat of Empress Dowager Cixi is anchored. The dockyard was also rebuilt during the reconstruction of the Summer Palace. In addition, two small dockyards were added beside the big one.

北船坞　宿云檐　北船坞位于小西泠岛的北面，始建于乾隆年间，光绪时重修，是颐和园内最大的船坞，也是目前国内最大的木结构船坞。北船坞共3座，面阔40间，坐北朝南。勾连搭悬山顶。

　　北船坞东边紧邻一院落，院东有东房5间，北有正房3间，东北有正房6间，西北有正房3间，院西有东房3间。
