Park City is famous for skiing and Sundance, both of which I have done. A gourmet destination? Not exactly in the non-touristy months, but still there’s a few good eats if you happen to be there during fall.
Located in the Caledonian Building on lower Main Street, adjacent to Park City Mountain Resort’s town lift, Butcher’s Chop House and Bar has built a loyal following with Park City’s savvy local diners. A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and quality service.

Lobster nachos

house-made pepper jack cheese sauce | lump lobster meat | jalapeño & cilantro | cotija cheese | house-made tortilla chips
Beef tartare

rare beef tenderloin | traditional seasonings
Filet oscar

6oz filet | topped with blue lump crab | sautéed asparagus | mashed potatoes | béarnaise
Alaskan king crab legs

1 lb served with drawn butter | choice of two sides

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere in the traditional steakhouse style. However nothing blew me away, the fact sides weren’t hot was a downer.
