The Oyster Bar at Custom House is not exactly my favourite oyster bar in Singapore. In fact there are none for me as they are usually over-priced and offer little choice. However, the Oyster Bar offered a credible list of finest picks of Pacific, French and sometime Brittany oysters with a price to match. Not for the faint-hearted or those on personal account.
Oysters are God’s gift to the earth. And when you abuse the gift by polluting the oceans and creating havoc to the ecosystem, these harmless little morsels will hit back at you – mercury poisoning, hepatitis, etc. So in order to continue to enjoy God’s gifts, please respect the oceans.
