Keyaki has been one of my usual haunts when it comes to Japanese food. They have evolved quite a bit over the years. They were the first to have a Japanese-style BBQ grill counter. They were very up-market, often the venue of special Japanese food fair like the Hokkaido Food Fair in World Gourmet Summit in 2002. And more recently they had this incredible ala carte buffet that featured all items on their extensive menu. This is the new Keyaki – toned down in terms of offerings, but no less in terms of quality, and overall offered a much better value for money.
We went for a Mother’s Day celebration and were quite happy with the sets they have on offer.
