Fremantle Seafood Market @ Clarke Quay

I walked past this place several times without stopping because it looked like a tourist’s trap. After all the notorious stories about seafood restaurants in these tourist spots, I was always avoiding these joints. We were hungry after our weekly swim and we felt like pasta and oysters. This place was offering fresh oysters at 50% off, we decided to check it out.

The food was average pub-type of food that you eat with lots of beer. Sitting next to the Singapore River on a balmy afternoon was great. As the vertical bungee was just next to the restaurant, you get the occasional screams while you ate dinner. Service was ok, price was around $50++ pax. And yes, the oysters were half-priced if you have Citibank credit card.
