Which other airport in the world has a Jewel in its crown? Changi Airport of Singapore, who else! Crowned the best airports in the world by multiple travel magazines, it has added a Jewel literally. And on the 5th floor right under the canopy are many good restaurants.
This little bistro serves a mixture of local favourites and international choices.
Seafood laksa, prawns, squid, fish cake, quail egg, tofu puff, Vietnamese mint (laksa leaves) is quite good. A good spot to have a laksa fix after a long trip home despite $16 for a small bowl. And there’s no cockles.

What is really good is the nice runny egg that is placed on top of a competently made carbonara.
Privé is located within the distinctive Canopy Park on the 5th floor, the uppermost level of Jewel, where the outdoors is brought indoors with a comfortable Mediterranean climate. Perched at the edge with spectacular views overlooking the rest of Jewel down below and the Singapore skies up above, Privé has one of the best panoramic spots. Privé’s expansive and cheerful layout also takes full advantage of the surrounding greenery and natural lighting, and allows guests to partake in Jewel’s buzz.
