Commissary was the brainchild of the group that brought you 22 Ships and was created in partnership with Morgan McGlone of Belles Hot Chicken (Australia). The casual all-day restaurant and bar at Pacific Place is an American affair that connects Hong Kong diners with favourites celebrated across the 50 states.
Conveniently located atop Pacific Place, Commissary offers all day dining as well as a strong coffee program from speciality roasters Red Back, featuring single origin beans, soft brew and plant based milks. After dark, larger dishes and arguably Hong Kong’s best tacos take centre stage. Light and airy, the space comes care of renowned Singapore based designer Siew Hui Lim of Hui Designs.
Sides & Snacks
Jalapeño poppers

Jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese , coated with bread crumbs and deep fried. It is eaten as a snack if you can stand the heat from the jalapeño.
Cajun fries

Salads
Chicken Caesar salad

Crab, avocado and lime salad

American BBQ
Smoked beef short ribs

Buffalo wings and blue cheese sauce

The buffalo wings were coated with a really spicy and tangy sauce. The blue ranch sauce helped to lower the heat level.
Fried chicken and hot sauce

Served on a waffle with two sauces – maple syrup and hot sauce, the southern fried chicken cannot be compared with Yardbird.

The corn cob was conveniently dehusked for easy consumption. The ribs were fork tender and slid off the bones easily, but the I find the sauce a bit too sweet for my liking.
Overall, it was casual dining but kinda expensive for casual dining. Service was good for HK standards, and you are not rushed to finish. Can be really busy in the evenings, specially weekends because of the no-rush policy.
