We went very late today for lunch and all the omakase was not available. Luckily the sushi counter was not closed yet.

Miyabi is a stylish, contemporary and informal dining venue where an a la carte selection of customary Japanese specialties such as sushi, sashimi, tempura and omakase sets takes centre stage. The creation of Miyabi’s cuisine stems from the Japanese Cuisine Chef, Tetsuya Yanagida‘s deep-rooted philosophy and passion in preserving the authentic ways of Japanese cooking. Chef Yanagida has spent more than two decades honing his craft, starting from his home city in Japan, to the highly reputable restaurants in Kuala Lumpur.
Hamachi

The fresh hamachi fish just came in from Japan, so the chef suggested we took half of it as sashimi, and the other half shioyaki.
Akagai
赤貝 Ark Shell

Very fresh and delicious, the akagai was crunchy and sweet.
Sashimi Moriawase Ichi-Jyo

After the first two a la carte sashimi, we had a sashimi moriawase that came with 18 premium cuts. Nothing to shout about in this set that included some salmon, tuna, yellowtail, scallops and sweet prawn.
Hamachi Shioyaki

The second half of the hamachi came perfectly grilled.
Sushi Moriawase Matsu

Finished off lunch with some sushi.

Washed down with a bowl of hot misoshiru.

Competent Japanese restaurant in Sheraton PJ albeit a little expensive. But very quiet and secluded, perfect for business lunches.
