The most important meal of the day is breakfast. I may not agree to this statement but it doesn’t suck if all my breakfast is like this.

In a recent business trip to Sydney I happened to stay at Park Hyatt. I usually stay at Marriott right about Circular Quay, but they were fully booked. And usually when I stayed there, I would skip breakfast unless it was a working breakfast.
Breakfast Table

I had to say I was happy I did not skip breakfast this time round as this wonderful spread by James Viles was a feast on its own. The breakfast consists of a continental breakfast table of breads, Danish and other sweet confection, and a nice selection of fruits and juices, cereals and cold cuts.
Chef Luan’s Daily Asian Special

But the breakfast did not stop there, there’s a second part called The Pantry, a selection of eight items that can be ordered unlimited times. These included açai bowls, smoothies and other healthy creations made a la minute. I ordered Chef Luan’s Daily Asian Special, a special Asian breakfast dish by the Sous Chef. Today’s special was a pork charsiu with a nasi lemak like rice dish, completed with deep fried shallots, pickled cucumbers and shredded omelette. Delicious.
The Park Breakfast Plate

You can only have one main course, but it didn’t matter as by now you should be full already. I order sunny side eggs on toast, smoked bacon, grilled mushrooms, chicken sausage, hash, rocket lettuce. I could only finished half of the plate.
Definitely one of the best hotel breakfast I had in years!
