Ganso Sushi is the last budget sushi that serves good sushi at Narita airport. If you miss this kaitenzushi place, you will have to settle for the sit-down sushi restaurant inside that is a lot more expensive.
Kaitenzushi 回転寿司 or conveyor belt sushi is a convenient and affordable type of sushi restaurant characterised by the conveyor belt that winds through the restaurant carrying plates of Edomae sushi. This particular type of sushi is a rather modern Japanese cuisine initially created by the Edo (old name for Tokyo) fast food businesses during the 1820’s.

At each seat, there is a bottle of soy sauce, a container of pickled ginger to cleanse the palate, a box of chopsticks, a small container of green tea powder, tea cups and a built-in hot water dispenser. Tea is self-serve. To make it, place about a spoon of green tea powder into the cup and add hot water from the dispenser. There’s no saucer, you drip the soy sauce onto the sushi directly. Wasabi is already placed in the sushi.
The sushi were all very fresh, but they are not the top quality fish. But for less than $2 a plate, this was even cheaper than Singapore.

Everything was prepared at the store, so the sushi was of a high quality despite the low price. Everything was very prompt and efficient.
