Another instagrammable food outlet, everything in NINETYs is so pretty and well bursts of colours from edible flower. Did I mention that the flowers were so pretty?
Aussie Styled All-day Dining Cafe
An all-day dining restaurant cafe serving world-class specialty coffee and Australian influenced food menu available in the morning, lunch, tea time and evening. Alcohol licensed serving a collection of red and white wines, Japanese sake, locally brewed craft beers and interesting cocktails.

Even the simple water pitcher catches your eyes with a piece of charcoal to remove any smell of chlorine from the water. And of course, you will not be served any plastics for your drinks. But now with the epidemic in full force, shouldn’t we consider the risk of metal straws? I took out the straw and drank straight from the copper mug.
Full board uni rice

Only 50 portions a day. Canadian urchin, onsen tamago, green onions, kale, salt khumbu, sesame citron salt, grapefruit sauce and shiso on pearl barley rice.

The uni was very sweet and full of flavours. I was shocked that the poached eggs had shells which I thought was salt flakes until they refused to melt in my mouth. Such a primary school mistake from the kitchen.
Pork egg benedict

My lunch mate ordered the pork egg Benedict, that came with poached eggs, braised pork shoulder cooked with cinnamon, cumin and brown sugar on toasted sourdough.
Except for that mishap with my poached eggs, service was prompt and the food was OK. But if you are looking for picture perfect plating and fanciful ingredients that the millenniums would not eat otherwise, then NINETYs is your best choice for lunch around Wanchai. A bit expensive for lunch, but edible flowers are not cheap.
