STACK Restaurant & Bar Las Vegas, located inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino, offers inventive cuisine in a fine-dining atmosphere.
The contemporary space features sleek, hardwood interiors and high ceilings that create a canyon-like appearance, offering guests a sensory experience in addition to delectable fare.
I was lucky that their seasonal soup of the day was my favourite lobster bisque. The fragrant of cognac and the deep umami that was provided from the lobster shell was very satisfying. Nice chunks of lobster craws meat.
Oysters on the half shell / Daily Selection / Mignonette
Actually I prefer my oysters naked, but once in a while I liked to be surprised by the chef with their special sauces. This is a sour and spicy mignonette. Mignonette sauce is a condiment usually made with minced shallots, cracked pepper, and vinegar. I still prefer the oyster au natural.
8oz filet / Shishito Peppers / Red Wine Demi
The medium rare filet came with grilled shishito peppers on the side and red wine demi-glace.
These were not Japanese shishitoes, more like jalapeño so they were actually quite spicy.
The steak was perfectly medium rare, red in the middle like I wanted. Together with the demi glace, which is a rich sauce made with red wine and beef au jus, the steak was juicy and flavourful
American contemporary dining in a sleek hardwood setting is what sets STACK apart from the rest. Perfect for a quick bite or full meal to share with family and friends.
