Emporio Antico @ Hong Kong

These days, due to high rental costs, some of the best restaurants in Hong Kong are found on the higher floors of office buildings. Emporia Antico is located on 18th floor of an office building, and you get questioned by security what are you doing there if you are not appropriately dressed.

My favourite HK breakfast

I am a frequent visitor of Hong Kong – my favourite city in the world. And whenever I visit, I would not include hotel breakfast because I know where I would be going for breakfast.

Japan’s most successful export would be Japanese cuisine. Everyone likes Japanese food – they are pleasing to look at and (most of time) tasty. As China became more affluent and more were exposed to proper Japanese cuisine, restaurants like Toro Ryotei started to pop up.

Nanchang Hotel 南昌饭店 @ Beijing

Every provincial government has an official Provincial Representative Office 辦事處 in Beijing. And most of these would also run a hotel or reception like restaurants. These would serve really authentic cuisine, as they would use chef and ingredients directly from their province. Nancheng Hotel from Jiangxi is one of them.

Lazy Sunday in Shanghai
